Publish in Open Access

Open Access is one of the main ways of disseminating research. University researchers, in addition to being able to deposit their publications in the Institutional Repository, may also choose to publish in open access journals.

Increasingly, open access journals operate in accordance with the norms and good practices standardized in the scientific community with a peer review process, indexed in databases and, often, with an Impact Factor assignment. Most of these journals are made up of researchers and scientific societies and networks. Sometimes authors are charged fees to support the publication.

In the editorial context, but within the commercial scope, hybrid journals are still available in which, by paying a fee, authors can publish their articles in open access.
